About COLFUTURO

Who we are.

From 1991, we endeavor to provide guidance and finance to those students wishing to pursue postgraduate studies in the best universities around the World. As a result of the support granted by the Colombian Government, through the Ministry of
Science and Icetex, and private donors, we’ve been able to finance master’s and PhD studies of more than 15,000 Colombian citizens, who have represented our country in around 880 universities abroad.

We offer support to those interested in pursuing their postgraduate studies abroad; through our Academic Counseling Services and the Talent Seed Program we provide guidance as of their study planning phase. Selected students will receive financing and the support of the Scholarship Loan Program during their studies, and upon their return to the country, they will be able to enjoy the support of a beneficiaries’ network through our Enlace platform.

To select our beneficiaries, in addition to analyzing their undergraduate studies’ performance, we have developed a sophisticated rating and evaluation system of the postgraduate programs to which our candidates apply, based on the quest for academic excellence as the unique criterion. We are now in Colombia, the institution that manages relationships with the most prestigious universities around the globe.

As a result, we now have more than 120 agreements that offer a wide variety of opportunities for our beneficiaries.

We foster, with our experience and are ongoing learning process, the generation of an improved human capital for Colombia`s development.
