About the institute

The MSc in Urban Management and Development is a 12-month, English-taught programme offered in four Master tracks: Urban Digital Transformation & Innovation, Urban Housing & Land Justice, Urban Environment, Sustainability & Climate Change and Strategic Urban Planning & Policies.
This structure allows students to focus on their chosen field while gaining a comprehensive understanding of sustainable urban management.

Cities are undergoing rapid transformation, with urban populations projected to reach 68% by 2050, creating significant physical, economic, environmental, and social challenges. To address these, the programme equips students with the skills to analyse and solve urban issues through forward-looking policymaking. Key areas of focus include socio-spatial dynamics, climate resilience, governance, urban economics, and equitable access to land and housing.
Students benefit from high-quality academic content, training in data analysis software, negotiation skills, and comparative methodologies, preparing them to lead sustainable urban transformations worldwide.
